MedTech Product Manager

Scale our AI driven clinical support system towards many hospitals worldwide to radically transform patient monitoring.

This is a unique opportunity to make immense impact in the medical world with technology as part of an ambitious and clinically driven team.

Join us in our ambition to drastically improve monitoring of patients both in the hospital and home setting.

What will you be doing?

This role is paramount for our organization as you will be managing the development and IT operations of our clinical support system that improves monitoring of patients within general wards of hospitals.

You will be the central hub between our users (mainly nurses) at hospitals, their IT-departments, sensor partner companies and our own development, clinical and QA team.

The position is focused on managing the development and operations to run our system successfully at each clients location.

Facilitate the development process

This part of the job aims to assist in the facilitation of the software development process.

Since WARD-CSS is a medical device, it is needed to make sure all regulatory requirements are fulfilled during the development. This means requirements, risk and test management as part of software development. Besides that for each release, all supporting documentation needs to be adjusted and approved.

  • Requirements management (requirements specification and sprint management)
  • Test management (test plans and executions)
  • Risk management (risk analysis and traceability)
  • Release and supporting documentation

Manage IT operations

Besides the facilitation of the software development process it is needed to install, maintain and support our software at our clients. The following activities are part of that:

  • Provision the IT infrastructure with local IT departments (virtual machine and mobile devices)
  • Installation and verification (plus documentation)
  • Deliver support and bug requests from users
  • Facilitate integration with sensor systems

You are constantly looking for ways to improve the development and operations by making the processes more efficient as we learn and scale over time. Over the coming years our plan is to scale to hundreds of hospitals worldwide and you will be laying the groundwork to ensure we can handle such a growth.

Optimally, you have experience with data-driven (web and mobile based) applications and are excited to make our system succeed though a proactive attitude. You are able to manage a lot of things at the same time but also have an eye for detail when testing the application. You truly understand software and are able to talk to both our users and development team about it (make a bridge between them).

The position is primarily remote but occasionally you’ll be required to travel to hospitals in Denmark and abroad to provide on location assistance.

Who are you?

You have been working as a product manager (or similar) with at least a couple of years of experience with similar software systems (mobile and web). You have successfully scaled, supported and tested mission-critical applications.

You’re a self-supporting professional who solves problems on the go and proactively communicates with our clients and your teammates and you have an open and friendly attitude. You understand the regulatory requirements for software development and work in a detailed and control way to deliver our applications to clients.

You possess the following competencies:

  • Strong communication skills to maintain good relationships with our clients, IT departments and integration companies
  • Proactive attitude towards provisioning IT infrastructure, delivering support and solving bugs

  • Experience with testing user interfaces (maintaining and executing test plans)
  • Experience of managing IT operations (installation, maintenance and support)
  • Fluency in English

Technical skills:

  • Well-versed in SQL for troubleshooting and reporting purposes
  • Basic understanding of golang and flutter
